Snowy Egret

Snowy egrets are fairly common birds on Galveston island. While most times they can be found standing in or by the water they also can be seen in fresh cut laws. These birds have also been noted as one of the more successful hunters when it comes to hunting fish when water is stirred... a theory to their success is that their yellow feet attracts fish.
